Chris Nelson, Ph.D. – Chairman
Dr. Nelson is the Chairman of Amalyte and CEO of the Kemin Group of Companies, an organization of businesses aimed at improving the quality of life through nutritional and health products.  His background in bio-chemistry has shaped a culture of rigorous scientific discovery and research in all of companies businesses.  Through a strategy of demerging businesses, Dr. Nelson has successfully generated rapid growth in all of business areas the Kemin Group of Companies serves.

Elizabeth A. Nelson, Ph.D. – Corporate Counsel

Currently serving as Amalyte’s general counsel, Libby is also guiding IP and Regulatory affairs for all of the Kemin companies.  Prior to joining Kemin, Libby spent five years as assistant attorney general for the State of Iowa.  She was also general counsel for the Iowa Finance Authority.

Keith A. Bostian, Ph.D. – President & CEO
As an entrepreneur-scientist, Dr. Bostian has held executive operating roles in companies financed by leading venture firms in the biotechnology arena, and has played advisory roles at the seed, pre-seed, and investment stage for numerous other organizations.  He is the President of Kemin Pharma and was the founder and CEO of Iconix Pharmaceuticals, Inc., as well as founder and COO of Microcide Pharmaceuticals, Inc.  Dr. Bostian was also previously Executive Director of Microbiology and Molecular Genetics at Merck Research Laboratories.
